Our training strategy

In 1999 when Children Mission was founded we understood that four of us couldn’t tell all the kids in Ukraine about Christ. That’s why we choose the biblical way – what we had heard and what we had learnt in Petra College in RSA “to entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2). Thus, we started training grown-ups in local churches who had a big desire in their hearts to share God’s love with children. The final goal of our training is for the students not only be effective in children ministry, but to equip them to train others.

We train

Children workers, parents and children ministry leaders in local churches.

Then some of them are trained to become

tutors (or trainers of Children Mission material).

Children Mission keeps contact with tutors to encourage them, to help them organize and present trainings in their churches or communities. We supply help, advice, all the necessary materials.

Developing regional mentors (local leaders who are the ones to help and encourage tutors)

Our strategy is to train key people in each local church who will be able to equip other adults in their churches and communities.
