“Our lives changed, not just our ministries!”

“This training changed not just our ministries, but our lives!” – said children workers with joy and excitement after Connecting Course in Donetsk (Eastern Ukraine). 30 people from 16 local churches took the course.

During the training students received not only knowledge how to build relationship with children, but tested it in practice while spending time with children. “The time of cookies and coloring books is in the past! It’s now the time for play and exciting stories!” – students decided by the end of the course.

The students soaked themeselves in play so much that sometimes it was difficult to understand who was enjoying it more – kids or adults. By the end of the course even the most stubborn were persuaded that play is the best way to connect with children. If you add an interesting story – you have all chances to become child’s best friend!

As some of them testify, knowledge and practical skills were not the only gain. They received inner healing and freedom in different areas of their lives.

It was special time for students as well as for tutors. Everybody experienced the presence of God and the blessing of being together. Most of our students are looking forward to the next level, Module 2 “Bible Meetings with Children – the Effective Way”. So with God’s help we are planning to start new training year with this course.
